How we communicate with you

Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (“CASL”) came into effect on July 1, 2014. The Mississippi Mills Public Library Board is committed to complying with CASL and its requirements. Essentially, we will seek your consent to send you electronic messages (EMs) including:

  • Library notices regarding overdue library materials or fines
  • Notification regarding holds or interlibrary loan pickup up
  • Library newsletters, fliers, promotional materials, reminders and other library publications
  • Library programme or registration information; event/seminar invitations; contests
