April Travelogue

China with Monica Blackburn

Thursday, April 7th at 7pm in the Almonte Branch Meeting Room

Monica and her family were “…in Beijing by ourselves traveling the superb subway system, and seeing the must see sites.  The three of us then spent eight days in Sichuan Province, visiting the panda breeding centre, climbing a Buddhist mountain, visiting a 72 foot tall Buddha carved into a red sandstone cliff, and spending hours in the tea gardens of Chengdu…The food was an experience not to be missed!”
